El Dr. Alberto Nieto es investigador Grado 5 en el Area Química del PEDECIBA. Ingresó al Programa en 1987. Desempeña sus actividades en la Cátedra de Inmunología, Facultad de Química.

Investiga en las siguientes líneas:

  • Inmunología parasitaria e inmunología de mucosas (enfermedad celíaca)
  • Biotecnología de inmunodiagnóstico
  • Estudio comparativo de la afinidad y composición de los anticuerpos anti-hidáticos obtenidos de ratones infectados con protoescoleces de E. granulosus estimulados con anticuerpos antidiotípicos o inmunizados con antígenos parasitarios
