Upon your arrival in Montevideo, one of the reception officers will meet you,
provided we receive the information regarding airline, flight number, date and
time of your arrival. If you come by bus, let us know your bus company, date and
time of expected arrival in town. This shouldn't be a problem since airport and bus terminals are quite small. Just in case we miss each other, make sure to get your "fathers'" telephone number by e-mail beforehand and call for help. If you are at the airport you can use public telephones where local calls are free of charge. In all other places you should buy a telephone card, available at most newsstands, kiosks or bars at very reasonable prices. If you arrive during a weekend it will be advisable to change some money on the spot at the airport. |

The reception activities are run by students and professionals who carry out the administration tasks, organize social activities and the weekly meetings which are held every Thursday at the Faculty of Engineering at 9:00 p.m. These are for organizing purposes and afterwards we always go out together for a drink. If you have any doubts, please contact us before and during your stay in Uruguay.
